Terrence Sigers
Terrence “CityNewwss” Sigers is a name synonymous with authenticity, influence, and unwavering dedication to the culture of Columbus, Ohio. Born and raised in the Brittany Hills neighborhood, he has spent more than two decades amplifying urban voices and shaping the media landscape across Central Ohio.
His broadcasting career began at Urban One, where he quickly rose to prominence on Power 107.5. He dominated the airwaves for over a decade as host of the number one night show before transitioning to the flagship morning show, bringing unmatched energy to early-morning listeners. His leadership earned him the role of Assistant Program Director, where he helped guide the growth and direction of all Urban One Columbus stations. He also played a major role in launching Boom 106.3, further cementing his influence in Central Ohio radio.
In 2022, CityNewwss joined iHeartMedia, where he now serves as Program Director for all urban brands in the Columbus cluster. His voice continues to reach audiences locally and nationally through multiple stations, including a syndicated afternoon drive show.
Beyond broadcasting, CityNewwss is the founder and spokesperson of The City School Tour a 20-year initiative that has taken him into schools, colleges, universities, and corporations across Central Ohio. Through motivational speaking and hands-on activities, he has inspired thousands with a mission rooted in empowerment, education, and positive change.
His community footprint is strengthened through partnerships with respected organizations including the Columbus Crew, Donatos, Hot Chicken Takeover, the City of Columbus, City Council, the National Center for Urban Solutions, T-Mobile, Chevrolet, and Columbus City Schools. Through these collaborations, he has hosted and supported hundreds of events, panels, and community gatherings focused on unity, opportunity, and cultural impact.
